The European programme for education, training, youth and sport Erasmus+ was launched in 2014 for 6 years period till 2020. The programme follows an integrated approach that ensures effective interaction between all sectors of education, training, youth and sport. Erasmus+ supports activities in the areas of education, higher education, vocational education and training, adult education, youth sector.
The aim of Erasmus+ is to contribute to the Europe 2020 strategy for growth, jobs, social equity and inclusion, as well as the aims of ET2020, the EU’s strategic framework for education and training. In addition, it aims to build strong partnerships between education and business to promote innovation and competitiveness while promoting employment.
Erasmus+ has opportunities for people of all ages, helping them develop and share knowledge and experience at institutions and organisations in different countries.
